Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a treatment that uses a concentrated component of your own blood to support skin rejuvenation or hair restoration. PRP contains platelets, growth factors and bioactive proteins that play a role in tissue repair and regeneration.
When applied or introduced into the skin during treatment, PRP works to support the skin’s natural healing or hair growth processes. It is commonly used to improve overall skin quality and support healthier, more resilient looking skin.

What to expect
Appointments typically take around 45 to 60 minutes. The treatment begins with a small blood sample taken from your arm, which is then processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet rich plasma. The prepared PRP is then applied or injected into the treatment area as part of the procedure. A topical numbing cream may be applied beforehand to maximise comfort. Most clients experience mild discomfort during treatment. A course of treatments spaced several weeks apart may be recommended depending on individual skin concerns and treatment goals.
Downtime
Low to mild downtime: 1 -3 days. Mild redness, swelling or sensitivity can occur after treatment and usually settles within a few days
