What to expect
Treatment appointments typically take around 90 minutes, depending on the treatment area. During the procedure, you may experience warmth, tingling or a prickling sensation as the laser creates controlled treatment zones within the skin. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to maximise comfort. Following treatment, the skin will appear red and feel warm or tight as the renewal process begins.
Downtime
Medium to significant downtime: 2-5 days for toning or 7-14+ days for resurfacing.
Redness, swelling and a sunburn like sensation are common in the first few days following treatment. As the skin heals, light crusting or flaking may occur as the treated areas renew.
